This course focuses on the application of the 1987 Wetland Delineation Manual and Regional Supplements used by the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and numerous state governments while developing a stronger foundation in important aspects of soils and hydrology.  Learn basic wetland delineation while developing a stronger foundation in important aspects of soils and hydrology.  Class time is divided between lecture and field work. Receive a Field Guide for Wetland Delineation, a Pocket Guide to Hydric Soil Field Indicators, a CD containing the current Regional Supplements and other publications, and Lecture Notes. Also receive a Munsell Soil Color Chart.

This course is normally taught by several of the following: Newling, Parker, R. Pierce, Straw.
